Innovative, successful company is currently seeking an experienced, motivated, hardworking Technical Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities:
The Technical Service Engineer will p erform field service repair, installation and start-up of machines, including but not limited to complete electrical and hydraulic integration. On-site machine installation, testing, troubleshooting, training and repair of hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic mechanical functions. Collect and analyze parts and components from the field to research the root cause of failures, and report on recommendations and actions. Collaborate with corporate engineering teams. Support and contribute to ongoing updates and improvements as needed. Conduct training with customer’s employees to ensure proper operation of equipment and provide customer service technical phone support.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, two-year associate’s degree, comparable technical degree in electrical, automation, or controls engineering and/or or equivalent accrued experience and on-the-job training. PLC and Motion Control programming, testing, and debugging experience. 3 years’ field service experience, or experience in a technical repair/service manual development and/or manufacturing environment. U nderstanding and experience in repairing electronic and mechanical systems. Familiar with software, electrical and pneumatic systems with ability to troubleshoot using all types of standard test equipment. Experienced in hands on technical analysis, support, and training. Excellent communication skills at various levels as needed.
